Through our hotline, chat, email, and text services, our goal at the New Jersey Suicide Prevention Hopeline is to lessen the amount of distress you are currently experiencing and work collaboratively with you to develop a resolution to whatever stressors prompted you to contact us. Call 1-855-654-6735 if you need support right now.Peer Recovery WarmLine (PRW) is a peer-run service providing ongoing telephone support to mental health consumers as they work towards their recovery. All calls are answered by peers who are trained, supportive people with lived experience with mental health disorder. PRW is live Monday through Friday, 8 am to 10 pm, Saturday and Sunday, 5 pm to 10 pm, and holidays, 3 pm to 10 pm. Call 877-292-5588.
The purpose of Mental Health Anonymous is to encourage those struggling with mental illness to seek support from their local community– a free, yet extremely valuable resource for recovery. MHA aims to reduce the stigma towards vulnerability around mental health battles, normalizing reaching out for help when it is needed.
Prevent Suicide NJ (PSNJ) is the Garden State’s most comprehensive resource for suicide prevention. PSNJ strives to collaborate with state departments, professional and community organizations, schools and families to reduce suicide, diminish the stigma of suicide, and support those touched by suicide.
